Wooden Board:
The board features the traditional 9×9 grid and is made out of high-quality pine wood – the dimensions are:
- Overall board size: 34.7 * 32 cm

PU Leather Board:
The board features the traditional 9×9 grid and is made out of modern, durable PU Leather – the dimensions are:
- Overall board size: 34.4 * 31.7 cm
- Grid area: 32.4 x 29.7 cm
- Single square size: 3.6 * 3.3 cm
Pieces:
International / Western Style with directional moving-arrows for easy learning and Japanese single-kanji Kanji characters.
The top side is printed in black, the bottom (promoted) side in red.
Each piece is traditionally slightly tilted forward.
There are three different sizes, depending on each piece’s rank:
- Kings: 26.6 x 30.2 x 7.5 mm
- Rooks, Bishops, Silver and Gold Generals: 24 x 26.6 x 5.5 mm
- All other pieces: 19.5 x 24 x 5.5 mm
